Habitat for Humanity East Bay
Kathy Schmitz, a dedicated All-Women's Crew member, will be chronicling the progress of the revitalization taking place on Bonifacio Street. The house was bequeathed to Habitat for Humanity East Bay by Clarice Garrison, a very generous Legacy Society donor. The home, sponsored by the Women's Crew, will be rehabilitated and sold to a low-income family.

Although there were only a few of us working this weekend, we managed to get a lot done. The kitchen is coming together and we're continuing to finish some of the electrical works.
Because of expected rain and limited available work in the house, we had a smaller than usual crew today. Amy finished up some sprinkler work in the front then joined the crew wiring outlets inside. Monica showed Lian how to wire the outlets, passing on the knowledge imparted by Hans.
Friday the 13th was a lucky day for the Bonifacio house in Concord as 8 Women’s Crew members (Monica, Bobbie, Cel, Debbie, Jenni, Janet, Lee), Jacob Miller of Martinez, and Chuck Morton got to work on assignments from Mike.
We all were working hard to finish up some of the work in the attic, running wires and installing electrical boxes. We're making progress!
Friday and Saturday last weekend the work continued to drive the Bonifacio towards completion. The radiant barrier was installed in the attic, and work continued on the interior dry walling.
